Core Services Group is seeking a motivated Junior Test and Evaluation Analyst (JTEA) to support Undersea Warfare (USW) testing and evaluation initiatives in Norfolk, VA. This entry-level role is ideal for candidates with exposure to Navy systems, testing environments, or operational USW experience who are looking to develop in the T&E field.
The Junior Test and Evaluation Analyst will support technical evaluations that inform system development and fleet readiness, including data analysis, test planning, and reporting. This position is contingent upon contract award.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the development of Integrated Evaluation Frameworks (IEF), test plans, and modeling and simulation products.
- Support execution of developmental and operational test events for Navy systems.
- Collect and help analyze test data under the supervision of senior analysts.
- Contribute to test reporting and documentation.
- Work as part of a collaborative team to meet requirements outlined in the Performance Work Statement (PWS).
Preferred Qualifications:
- No formal education requirement; relevant experience in Navy operations, test support, or analysis is a plus.
- Desired experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Test and Evaluation (T&E) planning or execution
- IEF development
- Modeling and Simulation
- Test data analysis and reporting
- Operational experience in Undersea Warfare (USW) is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
General Requirements:
- Must be a U.S. citizen.
- Must have an active SECRET security clearance (or be eligible to obtain one).
- Ability to follow direction, contribute to structured testing processes, and work within a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Additional Information:
- Labor categories, hours, and qualifications will be aligned with task order-level requirements. Where no specific labor category is provided by the customer, Core Services Group will propose appropriately qualified personnel based on PWS objectives.
- Emphasis will be placed on analytical, testing, and writing competencies relative to the candidate’s role within the team.
